  1. Give the end rot plant calcium. D10 you can find it in the pet store in the
reptile section. Had that once on a San Marzano plant feed it calcium and
    cleared it right up.

  2. I will try that with the tomatoes. Any advice on how to get of leaf rollers
    in my blueberry canna lilies?

  3. Well I sprayed a little liquid sevin on them and cut off the infected
leaves so we will see how they recover

  4. I’ve never seen these bugs. I googled them and their of the moth family.
Bugs I make a hot and spicy solution, water and pureed habaneros two to one
cup of water. Now this maybe far fetched but wonder if the chilli spray
with a powdered mothball would do the trick. Would love to see if that
would work. I would even try since I see they secrete like slugs a chilli
and lemon juice spray (lemon for the citric acid slugs hate things like
    salt)

  5. Thank you so much for the info. It is much appreciated. Is’nt it too late
    to sow more bean seeds.

  6. Not too late for asparagus beans. I planted these last year around this
time of month and they grew well into December where temps were at night in
the low 40’s to hi 30’s daytime temps no higher than 60. They seemed to do
well in the cool weather with each morning new flowers emerging. If you
want some seeds I can send them no problem at all have a ton from last
years harvest. Oh if you let them dry on the vine they’re call black eye
    beans.

  7. You have a lot going on, Joe, and in general it’s looking great. Blossom
end rot is a side effect of excessive rain and high humidity, things we
can’t control. Certain “broad spectrum” fungicides, Daconyl being the first
to mind, can help stop it.
